ADRIEN MEDVEI

ADRIEN MEDVEI

Adrien brings decades of experience to the firm in solving problems for her clients. Adrien has advocated tirelessly on behalf of her clients since 1998. After immigrating to the United States from Hungary, Adrien obtained her bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern California (USC) and her Juris Doctorate (JD) from Southwestern University School of Law. She is a member of the California State Bar, United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, United States District Court, Central District of California, United States District Court, Southern District of California, and an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), where she served as the Custom and Border Protection (CBP) liaison for AILA from 2005 to 2007. She has written numerous articles about immigration, family law, and estate planning.

Adrien’s practice focuses on using the law to solve problems. When it comes to immigration issues, whether it involves reuniting a family, saving someone from deportation, or acquiring a business visa for the Chief Executive Officer of a multi-million dollar multinational company, Adrien brings an unprecedented success rate to any case that she takes on.

Likewise, Adrien has created estate plans for all types of people, without ever having a trust or will set aside by a court (in some cases, even after a challenge).

In addition to having an incredible success rate with her cases, Adrien is committed to supporting our communities through pro bono and other volunteer services in the law, including, merely by way of example, providing complex deportation defense through the Catholic Charities of Los Angeles (CLINIC) and Public Counsel Los Angeles, and support for families through the LACBA Pro Bono Domestic Violence Project.

SEBASTIAN MEDVEI

SEBASTIAN MEDVEI

Sebastian completed law school top of his class earning a cum laude distinction. He completed law school in two years at Southwestern University School of Law and completed his undergraduate studies at the University of California, Berkeley. Prior to becoming an attorney, Sebastian clerked with the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office (LACDA), prosecuting consumer and environmental misconduct both civilly and criminally, and, with the Honorable Dean D. Pregerson at the United States District Court, Central District. Sebastian was published in the Southwestern Law Review, and his publications have subsequently been cited in other publications. Sebastian has also been featured on television and print news in connection with his cases.

Sebastian’s practice focuses on dispute resolution and litigation. The focus of Sebastian’s litigation practice is recovering damages for his clients who are either economically or personally injured. Whether the dispute involves a wage dispute, personal injury, violation of civil rights, fraud, unfair business practices, or a breach of contract, Sebastian has obtained multi-million dollar settlements and judgments for his clients valued far above the regional average for similar cases. Sebastian believes this is because of his willingness to stay with a case and apply innovative legal theories and techniques, as opposed to trying to settle a case as quickly as possible with the least amount of work possible. As a result, Sebastian has recovered millions of dollars in settlements and judgments on behalf of his clients, most of the time, without putting his clients through the added strain of showing up for a trial. In addition to his aggressive profit-based representation, Sebastian actively represents individuals from underserved demographics whose rights have been violated on a pro bono basis.
